Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh to all the brothers and sisters in Islam,

During cold weather back in 2017, with help of a few brothers, we started to pray in a garage with the intention to start a prayer place. In the cold weather, the brothers brought their own heating fan to make a comfortable place to pray while the snow was next to their prayer mats. With their struggle and the help of Allah, they are then able to make a prayer place in the basement. As the community grew, about 100 people pray in Jummah prayer then another 50 people waits for the second jama’ah to start. We also have weekend classes for students to join and learn about Islamic studies. Due to short space in the basement, we are not able to accommodate big events like Friday Prayer in one jama’ah or Eid prayer, or a place for sisters to pray in the basement. On Dec 15, 2022, we  purchase a property (110-26 164th St, Queens, NY 11433) with a 4,000 Sqr feet lot for Masjid Al Insan. We have to pay back more than $290,000 Karze Hasana  and we need about $120,000 to finish the constructions so that we can start our prayer there. We humbly request all our Muslim brothers and sisters to help us to build a masjid in this South Jamaica Community in NYC.
